Matthew Collins has transformed his career from public service to innovative entrepreneurship in real estate. With a disciplined foundation from his US Army service and over 8 years with the Boston Fire Department, Matthew combines dedication and leadership with a forward-thinking approach.

Initially balancing his role as a firefighter with his passion for real estate, Matthew quickly progressed as a real estate agent and grew a personal real estate portfolio and network. Also a certified loan officer, Matt then spent time in the traditional mortgage lending industry. His experience in advanced real estate communities and partnerships ultimately set him on the path to further pursue lending and start Shelter Capital, where he now focuses his time.
